hey matt, how much are you even willing to pay (or trade) for a rare variety like this? just curious!

I actually got an D. muscipula 'Alien' in a trade recently. I traded a "WIP Slim Snapper" and 'Scarlet Bristle' for several other flytraps. I haven't updated my grow list yet though.

By the way, there were two newly registered flytrap cultivars in the last ICPS newsletter and 'Alien' was one of them. The other one was 'Coquillage', which I also have a plant of now.

good job matt! make sure you upload some photos of the ad. Alien! i think there is literally fewer than 10 pictures of those on the internet!

also some in vitro propagation!

It's still quite small right now, but it will grow quite a bit by the time spring comes. I'll snap some photos of it then and make a page for it on the main site.

You should TC that alien once you get a chance and then you can sell it to us for a reasonable price . I would probably buy that one .

I plan on TCing all of my plants at some point. There are several that are just too small to TC at this point and Alien is one of them. I have plenty others to focus starting in TC though while I wait for it to grow

There are quite a few of them and I haven't looked in the greenhouse to take inventory of what I want to initialize in TC this spring because the time for harvesting tissue for TC is still 3 or 4 months away.

Yeah, I'd like to see the pics of your Alien and some other clones, if you get the time, of course .
