i was wondering why my plants keep have breaked leaves after heavy rain?hw can i avoid the leaves to break during the heavy rain?

i wondering if in their wild,they face the same problems.do u guys had probs like this?

if you want to stop them getting hit you could buy a tarpualin,theyre pretty cheap and effective and should do the job :D

You can also bring the plant in during a heavy rain.
A tarp is a good idea too.
I usually put them in my house (during the day) and garage (at night, because it lacks light but has lower temperatures) when it rains :D

i really can use a tarp!

ok about the "moving the plants indoors during rain or night".wont that stresses the plant bcoz of the change of temp and humidity?if thats Ok,im on that one .i can use the tarp for my seedlings :)

I moved mine in when they were announcing crazy winds or heavy rain.

I also take the opportunity to take empty containers out for free rain water :D

Unless there is like a 30 degrees difference, I wouldn't believe that the plant will freak out with the temperature change. In a sense it will be just for a few hours, temporary thing.

Well, it downpoured in San Diego last night and my VFT's were out. I brought them in and they are under my CFL. So don't worry harris, it will just drench em and then you don't have to water them :D.
