This is a Lowes sundew that died completely off. I continued to water the pot and it is back from the dead.

It was labled Adelae, but the leaves look round to me. I am very new to sundews, so maybe someone else will confirm what it is. I just wanted to try one. I am very surprised to see this one alive. At it's worst it just looked like a pot of peat.

Cool! I think Adelae have roundsish leaves when they are small, some of mine do.

Yes, it looks like a D. adelae. As has been mentioned, very young or small offshoots of adelae often have rounded leaves at first, before developing their more mature lance-shaped leaves.

I rarely give up on plants myself, unless unpotting them reveals completely rotten roots. Sometimes they come back months later, if a watering regimen is continued. It's great you didn't give up! :)
