I'm really liking this plant. I've only been growing it since September 2009 and when I received it from Bob Ziemer, it was very small. But it grew quite a bit over the winter and has done very well this growing season. Here are a few photos for those of you that haven't seen it or for those of you that just like looking at photos :)

A couple of closeups of the "scaling" (I think that's what most people call it) on the leaves.

The weird traps, which are fused on the proximal end, are only present later in the summer and fall. In the spring, the traps are fairly normal in appearance. A closeup of the odd traps:

Great photos, looks like it grows the reversed cupped traps quite often in your hands!

Yeah, I really like it. And unlike most of the freaks, it appears to be fairly vigorous.

Yes, by the end of the season, it was only producing reversed cupped traps. I really like this little freak :)

Sounds great Matt, only one friend of mine has got a 'Trichterfalle' - but it produces only the regular VFT traps, with only 1-3 reversed traps a year! I'm really impressed by the way this plant looks in your hand, great work

I was told that it originated through phytohormone treatment, but I haven't verified this.

The funnel traps aren't very large, but the normal traps are average sized.

My favorite part about this plant is the scaled leavess, that would be cool to have a regular V trap with the scaled leaves
