the flytrap is starting to show growth, new traps, growth in the stalk, and the one trap that wouldnt open is starting to show signs of reopening!!

Don't waste the flowerstalk that is growing out of your plant - cut it off and plant into sphagnum and in a few months you'll have more plants.
