ive got 2 baggies of drosera capensis red seed to give away. theres a few capensis alba seeds in there too but its almost entirely cap' red.

you can have a bag of the seeds for free, and theres a large amount of seed in each bag. (probably 50-100 seed)

but you have to pay for your own postage. (regular air mail, at least.. probably 5 bucks aussie or so)

if your young make sure your parents know that your expecting a little baggie in the mail, and its just CP seeds and nothing nefarious

i *may* have more seed soon when it ripens, however at this time of year (winter) it has taken quite a long time already so no promises.... but i'll let ya'll know if/when it ripens with a post in this thread and we'll go again with whoever wants it pays postage.

edit 12/10/2010: changed thread subject line to suit all future cp seed freebies

Nice one Glenn. Good to hear that your plants have made it to maturity and very kind of you to offer your seed harvest up to Flytrapcare members.

thanks linton. john gave me a few caps near maturity aswell so ive got some ripening all the time at the moment.
the spatulata i got from you is kickin' butt and has thrown up a big seed stalk too.

for anyone interested, this is what you'll be getting.
the top 3 bags are the Capensis Red seed. however there is a little bit of debris in there aswell.
the bottom 2 bags are the capensis Alba seed.

if you havent seen the seeds before, those little tiny things that look like ' ' ' ' everywhere are the seeds. the larger stuff is debris.
look at the bottom right bag, compare the size of the seed to the size of the pen markings on it
i hope these pictures answer any questions as to how many you get (heaps!) and what it looks like etc.

Hey Oblivion.

I'd love some alba seeds, if you've still got them.

Do let me know how much the shipping will be, to India.

i had a quick look, and its about 3 bucks for air mail, + the price of a padded envelope.
so if you want to paypal me $5au, i can send it via regular airmail in a padded bag.

ive sent you a PM with my paypal info

Ah! capensis seeds, you can't even give them away.

I considered putting my name on your list just so you didn't feel bad.

haha, im sure that like snapper head, you have them poking their little heads out nearly every pot you own.

maybe its seedyImage, or theres some kind of stigma attached to a guy giving his "seed" away on a forum? :o

Hey Oblivion,

I would gladly take some of the Capensis Red seed off your hands :)

Though I am not sure about the cost of shipping to the USA... and the legalities involved.

At any rate... let me know if you think this is feasible.

it'll be no more than a few bucks. 5aud should cover postage via airmail no problem.

i can send you the seed if you like... no troubles at all. you want 1x red and 1x alba, or just the red ??

drop me a PM if you wish to go ahead.
