Hi guys ... I'm hoping you can help me. One of my VFT's which seems to be very healthy
grew this deformed trap. As you can see from the photo's some of the teeth on the outside of the trap
are missing and where the teeth should be there are black patches. It almost looks burnt.

These VFT's are growing under pretty intense lighting in a terrarium with multiple
plants in large pots. I'm also concerned because last night I spotted several weird bugs
that looked like small red spiders crawling around the glass of the terrarium. Do you have
any idea what these might be ?

How can I get rid rid of insect pests in my terrarium ? Is there a product you might
recommend. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.

Ive used it with great results (VFTs and Sundews), and i know of a commercial grower that recommends it.

Can I ask how you apply this to your plant? Is it diluted atall? Thanks

a couple traps came out like that when i first got my plant, i dont think its anything to worry about

the bugs sound like spider mites... you could spray your plants with "green light" neem oil; that's what everyone here recommends and it's worked well on my plants when they've had bug issues.
