Hey

My trap has been catching a couple of bugs lately, but when it opens up after a week or a lil bit more, the insect inside, even if dead dosen't look like it's been digested.... just trapped there

is it normal?

Yeah, they look pretty much like any dead insects, if maybe just a little squished. What the trap does is digest all the juices from inside the bug, it doesn't actually digest the outer body.

Yeah, they don't totally disappear or turn to slime or anything. Mine usually just leave the insects looking dried up and maybe slightly flatter than they originally were. Really soft-bodied bugs look a little more squished than others, but that's about it.

Don't read too much into the name.
It's just my email address and an expression of the oxymoron that I often am.

Some of my traps are just reopening after a week from feeding some small crickets, and im amazed how little of the insect is left.
