Glad to hear that you got the plants and they were in good health Crispy!
I couldn't help but notice how often you note any brown parts on the Nepenthes and Sarracenia pitchers. I would like to clarify that all the brown you're noting is normal browning that happens with old pitchers and doesn't indicate anything with regards to the health of the plants. The Sarracenia pitchers that are brown are from last season and the Nepenthes pitchers that are brown are a few months old now.
I don't snip any pitchers off until they turn completely brown. I know that some people choose to snip as soon at the pitcher starts browning, but I believe that the plant still gains nourishment from even a half brown pitcher, so that's why I don't snip them.
Thanks again for your order and I hope that the plants do well for you this year
