Got my dentate and my typical on monday. THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL. They came in perfect shape. The day after i got them they already caught 1 fly 1 ant 1 hawk mosquito and 1 spider (THATS ALOT OF BUGS) Ill post pictures later this week. After all the falsely closed traps open (Really small ant getting in and running out) ill upload them! Only problem. The dentate wasn't what i expected, the leaves on the head dont really look like sharks teeth, but they do have a beautiful pink coloring on the teeth.

They were growing in my greenhouse, so they should adapt to full sunlight pretty easily. However, if they're getting that much sun on a windowsill, they'll likely be quite happy there.

Hello and welcome to FlytrapCare :)

I think you meant to say that you have two "species" of Venus fly traps, but in fact, you only have one species. Dionaea muscipula, the latin name for Venus fly trap, is a single species, like humans (homo sapiens). But also like humans, there is a lot of genetic variety in flytraps.
