I am thankful for this little red nepenthes from @andynorth (and also thankful to Hedonista). I had sworn off acquiring new plants for nearly a year, but now I've fallen off the wagon (again).

I am thankful for my first carnivorous plant (Nepenthes Sanguinea). I got it at a local nursery and I didn't do much research so I was in for a surprise when I found out that it was harder to care for than most other plants. Growing carnivorous plants has opened me up to a whole new community and new friends that I would have never met before.

I am thankful for the forum, and the inspiring, helpful, and generous users that frequent here. Thank you to everyone that makes this forum possible. I am thankful for the generous giveaways that take place here, and the thoughtful members that organize them. I am thankful for the seed bank too, which has so generously provided seeds for the cost of postage. Thank you to all the seed bank donors which make it possible. And thank you ChefDean for processing everyone's seed requests.
Here is a plant I am grateful for: Drosera spatulata "Poss. Hong Kong" from the seed bank. :)

I'm thankful for my first sundew! I purchased it two months ago now, and it solidified my interest in carnivorous plants. The variety of the Drosera genus, along with their beautiful glistening dew has captured my interest since buying this plant.

Also want to show thanks to everyone that keeps this forum running. I found this forum somewhat recently, and the seed bank that is maintained here is what got me to create an account and begin to participate in the forum. It's truly incredible that there are people out there that are willing to put their time and effort into assisting other enthusiasts to expand their collections, without anything in return. It is also remarkable how many people are willing to spend their time on this forum answering questions that other growers have, and so I want to show my gratitude to everyone here who shares information, experience, and seeds to the community. Thank you all!!!

It looks like we are heading for a run-off between AndyNorth and ChefDean as Hedonista won last month. I don't like run-offs, especially on a Saturday, so be sure to vote and maybe break the tie!

Sorry for the delay. I went back over the votes and discounted those that were cast after the 30th. The result was a tie between Hedonista and andynorth. Since Hedonista won the September contest
