I thought that with nepenthes alata you could see the pool of digestive juices quite easily because it is a fairly big pool that drowns their prey?
No one can predict the way of life and how it turns out. Plants have their ways, if we were to disrupt the way that nature grows or the way that plants will bloom, we would be disrupting their way of life...
I was just confused before as I read lots of stuff saying that nepenthes produce a lot of liquid.
