I used this water cleaning chlorine tablet s for explant sterlization of bryophyllum sp. I kept it in 640ppm NaDCC or 400ppm free chlorine solution for 24h . it works well for this
But for nepenthes recommended is 300ppm for 12h -24h
Work well for drosera in 12h 300ppm NaDCC
nepenthes has endophyte which means organism living inside another organism
It can be eliminated by pre treatment of streptomycin and tetracycline
With pre treatment of systematic fungicide based on sp. Before taking explant in plant it self in the nodes
This i collected out of literature
Not tryed because nepenthes ventrata dont have endophytes in them
PPM also used to rinse it 10ml/l
And 2ml in media
