Uh, is my 3 month old seedling trying to put out a mini flower here?

Btw, I looked again today and I can see the white of the flower. I anticipate it may open in the next week. Very intersting. I do feed these seedlings the same freeze dried bloodworms. They are shelf ones, not frozen. I smash into a small flake (as thin as a piece of paper). And slide into the little mouths and close. I assume it's got a big boost from this and wanted to flower(?)

Not a clue whats going on there, it is interesting though. I do hope this isn't correct, but as an alternative to your conjecture that it has had a big boost from feeding and has therefore put out a flower, plants do sometimes put out a flower as a last-chance resort when they are dying, so they can reproduce before their demise.

Apologies

Another method is crushing dried bloodworms into powder and mixing with a bit of water. Make a little meatball for the plant. The liquid is more realistically like a bug and makes it easier for the plant to absorb something (it doesn't produce saliva).

Sadly a small spider as been grabbing leaves and pulling on them. I think thats what happened and snapped the flower. Assuming it's not going to recover but we will see. It shaped a bit more though it's definitely a small flower. Would have been cool to see. Keeping an eye on my other seedlings.
