Hi all. I have a couple of ventratas that are acclimated to mid-40% rH. The monsoon season here in AZ has ended and humidity levels are dropping into the low 30s.
I can mitigate it by misting to a small degree, but sadly, a terrarium or tent isn't an option.

Has anyone here had problems with low humidity with their ventratas? All suggestions are welcome!

Makes sense. Indoor humidity stays around 30% during the winter, but outside it can drop into single digits.

Yeah ventratas will grow just fine at lower humidity levels, but tend to be pretty stingy with pitchers when it's dry. I don't think it makes a particularly good beginner plant because of that.

My two were rescued from a grocery store and had been badly abused. No light, no water for weeks. They're thriving now, and have doubled in size with lots of healthy pitchers. I was worried about the low humidity knocking them out.
