We all have our collection of carnivorous plants. Some have one or two while others have a problem. (I fall into that later category). This month, we want to see your collection of plants. If you can show all of your plants, great. If you can only show a portion or a few of them, that is fine also. Show us what you feel best shows off your collection. Because it is difficult, if not impossible, to show off your collection in one photograph, we will have amended rules this month, and this month only. You may include up to 3 pictures, and those pictures may include collages. Don't get carried away, sometimes less is more.

So here are the (temporary) rules:
  1. You can submit 3 photographs for this contest. Collages are okay.
  2. They must be your own picture.
  3. Pictures shared in previous contests are not eligible.
  4. Minimally edited photos only. No effects or filters. Cropping is okay.
  5. The winner will be the entry with the highest number of thumbs up (likes) votes.
  6. Only votes from members with at least 5 posts will count.
  7. Members who have won within the past three months are not eligible for prizes but you can still enter.
  8. This contest is open internationally with an alternate prize for the winner.
This month's prize from Matt and Leah at the FlytrapStore is a Venus Flytrap 'Jaws'.

From the FlytrapStore website:
A favorite of everyone at FlytrapStore.com, Jaws is a vicious looking large-trapped Venus Flytrap, the result of a cross between Dentate Traps and a vigorous unnamed Flytrap. In addition to the traps being extra-large, they are often a deep, bloody red, especially into the Summer. Jaws is an attractive upright grower (when not Dormant). Note: Interestingly, the saw-tooth development for Jaws is seasonal, showing up most strongly in the Summer.
So start snapping those photos and show us your collection!

Nice. Couple questions. Where do you get those large plastic tubs and do you have issues with grass growing between the pallet boards?

Just over a week into our contest. I'm surprised that there aren't more entries. Everyone has a collection, even if it is only one plant! So here are the standings:
cpgrower126 4
optique 3
Panman 2

Submit your photos and show off you beauties. And be sure to vote for your favorites.

Thanks for your votes in August. I'm not eligible for this month but still wanted to share a few of my favorite plants. Past and present :D

I decided to highlight my plants that I got as a direct result of this forum. The first photo is plants I grew from seeds that were either from the seed bank or were given to me by forum members. The last two are plants that were either purchased from or given to me by forum members.

And the winner of the September contest is:

@Hedonista! Congratulations!

Before anyone corrects me, hollyhock was the winner last month and Panman has passed on the prize. (Yes, he is referring to himself in the third person and claims he has too many Jaws flytraps as it is. Crazy, right?)

Thank you to everyone for participating! This month's contest is live and we have another great plant for a prize.
