I am a fifth -grade teacher in Michigan and, as I ready to begin the school year, I read about some science lessons that incorporate the study of carnivorous plants. This led me to a web page about these super-cool carnivorous pond plants and a mostly one-sided discussion with Mr. Bailey about digging me a pond. With no pending pond to look forward to, I ended up on my usual path, finding out more about my world so that I can better teach about it, and here I am! :)

Welcome! There are plenty of CPs that don't need a pond (or a bog for that matter). Most types just want (CP friendly) damp soil.

Welcome! I too wanted my hubby to dig a pond or at least a tiny hole with water for just a couple plants lol. It’s so nice that you’re trying to incorporate these plants into your teaching. They’re all so interesting in their own ways. I’m guessing your students will be very excited about the subject.
