Hi everyone,
recently I've been to a botanic garden and saw a venus fly trap for the first time. I got so fascinated by it that I took its picture to show my parents. Purely by chance I ran into venus fly traps in IKEA for sale, and in an instant got myself one! As soon as I got back home, I researched a bit to get a little knowledgable, so I won't kill it. I already know that I should give distilled water to it, which I'll buy tomorrow morning. But, I don't know how often and how much water I should pour?
PS: I've always been an enjoyer of the nature, but I'm not familiar with gardening that much, that's why I'm open to every tipp from everyone! (I attached its photo)

Thanks in advance!

Didn't see the pic before my last response. To me it looks as if it needs more sunlight. Regarding watering. I keep my vfts in a tray with about an inch of water. I let the water completely dry out, then add more water after apprx 4'hrs of dry. I pour 0 tds water on the tops of the media so any bqd stuff will tend to wash through. I then fill the tray with another 1" of water.

Thanks a lot for your advice! You think it would be better to put it in front of the window so it can get direct sunlight, or put a place near? (worried about the plant drying out). Regarding watering, do you water them daily / how much water you think I should pour? and since I've just moved to a place, I don't a tray to put under, would it be fine if I pour water over the tops? do I have to pay attention to pour water in a way that it doesn't touch the traps?

OK, thanks! I just wanted to be sure, since the variables as watering and sunlight may differ
