In the powder form, I've heard the benefits are dubious at best.

There is a brand called "Quantum Total" that sells a live probiotic/trichoderma solution that has a shelf-life of 2 years when unopened and 1 once opened. The gasses the bacteria give off smells like sewage, genuinely, but from what I understand it's a good way to treat plants that you've caught early signs of some sickness or fungus, and it's also good for helping plants not pout as much during a repot.

Thank you. Do you by chance know of a reliabe source? I might have to get some to have around just in case.

Edit: At $63.00 per gallon, Maybe I will wait until it is needed, unless anyone knows of a benefit to using on healthy plant soil.

Almost a year on from your question, but I thought I'd share a bit of experience. I had heard the same about trichoderma and decided to try it, first on my heliamphora and then, out of curiosity, generally on some of my other carnivorous plants. I ended up with a widespread fungal bloom that spread to plants that I hadn't treated and got into my seed germination containers, killing them off. I did see some improvements with my helis, though. Use it, but with caution.
