Late to the game, but you got spot on advice from Pandude.

VFT seeds with cheap Bic pen for size reference. Tiny, teardrop shaped, and glossy.

VFT seedlings just after starting to put out carnivorous leaves. You can see the seed coat on the leaf tip of the one in the middle, on the right. Refer back to the first pic to see the size of the seed to see how small the plants are. The pointed leaves, the cotyledons, are the first leaves you'll see, which is the stage that it looks like yours are at.

That's what my first ones turned out to be. I was still able to use it to make a nice tomato basil marinara for Chicken Parmesan, so it wasn't a total loss.

Well on the plus side, once you grow them up, you can always make some fresh pesto.

If you can't find any local sources, and you have no objections to buying seeds from across the pond, then I can sell you some at very low prices. My flytraps have just started to set seed, so they will be fresh off the pod. Shipping to the UK is just £1.50 (in a standard envelope, with some padding to [hopefully] protect them from the Post Office). In the past few years, I have successfully shipped seeds to Portugal and the Slovak Republic.
