I was looking for a macro lens for my cellphone but didn't want a knockoff from China and couldn't pay $200 for one lens. I was playing around with a magnifier app on my phone and, after zooming out a bit, voila. Macro lens. The app is Cozy Magnifier & Microscope. The app is free with ads or $6 to remove the ads.

I have a similar one called Flashlight & Magnifying Glass. I like it.

It's under 50 and has worked pretty well for me

Though honestly the apps look like they get the job done

There are various adapters, etc. that you can buy. Some of them you use a normal lens, turned around. That seems to work pretty well. Bellows also work. I broke down and bought a good macro lens and a few months later my new phone has macro shooting capabilities.
