Hi all, after a close inspection of the Trader Joe's Sarr that I brought home the other day, I found at least three pests on the plant. Small spiders, black oblong things that are likely thrips, an unidentifiable critter, but no aphids. The plant got a good dosing of Captain Jack's this morning.
That said, is there any detrimental effect of the Brew going into the pitchers?

Sounds good, thanks. There's a new bug that's shown up on the Sarrs, at least I think it's a bug. They show up in pairs, hanging from threads on either side of the pitcher opening, underneath the hood. Has anyone seen or heard of such a critter? I'm trying to get a decent pic.

I never considered that they might be an egg. I sprayed again with Capt Jack's yesterday and removed the suspects but this morning they're back. And there have been a number of wasps coming around to drink from the pots and trays. You're probably right. Since there doesn't appear to be any damage being done, I'll let them be.
