Hi everyone,

I am new to flytrap and want to learn how to use plant tissue culture at home to propagate venus fly traps.

Thanks

Welcome to the forum, Bijal. Are you new to keeping flytraps or new to the flytrap forum. I'm just a little confused on that. Do you currently have flytraps growing? From my understanding, almost a lab-setting is required to do tissue culture. Cleanliness is very important.

Yes Im new to this forum. Have had some experience growing carnivorous plants before in UK. Now moved to Kenya so planted some seeds. My sarracenia, drosera and buttwort have germinated. Still waiting for venus fly traps and nepenthes seeds to germinate. Any advise would be grateful. thank you
