No fully grown pitchers for awhile with hybrid: how to help it?#435078

Hey guys, this ventricosa x aristolochioides of mine had lost all of its pitchers while growing the basal growth that is starting to come out more. One of the basal leaves has a bit of black on it. Any black you see in the medium in the pitchers is orchard bark, I checked, so don't worry about that. It kind of looks like there are new pitchers starting to be made.

The temperature it's in is 70-72 and the humidity is around 70-80%, it gets plenty of light, and the medium stays moist. The medium is the California Carnivores Premium Nepenthes Mix.

Is there anything I can do to help it definitely start to grow more pitchers?

If the light level and humidity are good, just give it stable conditions. I just took most of mine outside this week end. They grow well inside but the humidity is low so most don't pitcher well. In July mine will explode with pitchers that didn't develop in the winter.

look at all that pitcher less growth.

Hmm I do have to remember Nepenthes are slower growing for the most part. The little basal growth grew some tiny pitchers, so there's that. Maybe (probably) it's a matter of patience on my end.

The bigger plant seems to want to try and vine on something, or rather it's just growing more leaves out like it normally does.

I can post pictures, but part of me wonders if it needs a bigger pot. The pot is 4.25" diameter and 3.5" depth.
