Months ago, my D. madagascariensis suddenly collapsed and died. Today, while harvesting some sphagnum moss from the pot (which I am now using to catch Nepenthes pitchers before they hit the ground) I noticed a small sundew growing right in the spot the D. madagascariensis used to be. Did the plant come back from the roots? I have not added anything to the pot since the original sundew died, and I have only removed moss and the remains of the old sundew. No sundews have ever set seed in the area where the pot is kept.
