At first I thought that my VFT would just have deep red traps on the interior but it actually has a lot more and maybe it hasn’t even showed everything yet. The first thing that I noticed is that when the traps turn really red a red line forms on the exterior of the trap which I think is common. Also many times almost the whole trap can turn reddish, especially at winter. The other thing I noticed is that some of the teeth split and as new traps grow they have even more teeth with splits. The last and weirdest is that some of the traps have green lines on the interior of the trap! I haven’t seen this before. One time there was one trap with red interior with fully green lines and it looked really cool. I don’t know if it died or changed but I can’t find it inside all of those traps. Overall I think it is a very typical looking but pretty plant and I am happy with it.
