Looked pretty green to me, does it effect the colour of the plant? Maybe you should try and make a really dark blue one (colour one really dark blue), see what happens...

You can try the same experiment with freshly cut flowers - get some white flowers and put them in a vase of colored water - the white flowers will change color as they suck up the colored water.

Thanks Linton. I knew about that but was thinking about Dionaea. It would be cool to have a blue plant!

I'm not sure. It might. I'll likely never find out because I don't have that much interest in making a weird colored plant, but maybe I will if I have some in tissue culture that I don't really care about.

You do have a lot of plants though. I want a blue plant, or be happy to see one. I'm just wondering about if it'd work. If you happen to try that, and its looks like it is effects the plant, stop.
