Hello FlyTrap Forums

I got this new Sarracenia today. Do any of you have confident guesses or knows the hybrid or subspecies or what it is?

With all the variations out there today, a definite, 100% ID is not likely. However, I will say that it has leucophylla in it. Not going to say 100% leuco, but it as leuco in its gene pool.
Maybe ask the guy you got it from as to its potential parentage.

I tried putting it through a plant identifier, and it said it was most likely a Drosera

. Anyways, the second most likely was S. Leucophylla, and with it not being super white, and mostly red I would agree with ChefDean that its some sort of Leucophylla hybrid:

Thank you both! It's from a nursery so could definitely have just been a "mutt"

I think it's one of the hundreds of variations of Sarracenia x moorei, a flava x leuco or leuco x flava hybrid. With all of the variations in the two parent species, the appearances of their offspring are all over the map.
