Good evening!

Today I started my second round of Sarracenia seedinlings!

Last years round did ~ok~, I had great germination from my first sarr flowers, S. rosea crossed with an unknown flava, but failed to get any germination from some seedbank seeds (completely my own fault, the envelope got lost and I found it in my car, which gets very hot in the sun around here). I did a terrible job keeping track of everything (no labels, no dates), but hey, I got it done! This time around I'm going to be posting here to keep track!

Last years seedlings today. My memory is terrible, but I think they germinated just over 3 months ago. Most have fully developed their first pitcher, about 1/3 have started growing their second.

Anyway, this next round is starting stratification today! In the fridge with some sphagnum went:
Flytrap King's seed mixes #59 and #66 (grabbed them as a bday gift to myself when they went on sale recently).

#59 comprised of 4 seed crosses:
S. (leucophylla x moorei) x 'Lunchbox'
S. flava var rubricorpora x "Green Frog"
S. (leucophylla "purple lips x flava var ornata) x 'Adrian Slack'
S. leucophylla "Cronus" x "Krimzn Tide"

#66 comprised of 4 seed crosses:
S. (Leah Wilkerson x umlauftiana) x purpurea ssp. venosa
S. (alata black x flava red) x "Kew Gardens"
S. (Opakapaka x Leah Wilkerson) x 'Adrian Slack'
S. "Green Frog" x 'Dragon Queen'

Earlier this week, my SASE went to the seedbank for another Sarr cross. I'll post an update when that arrives and gets in the fridge.
