I didn't do anything special; it sat outside with the rest of my Sarracenia. Did you notice the weird crown on the right? 3 flower buds popping out of it.

Actually, I haven't given that any thought yet. It'll depend on what's blooming at the same time.

They like it here. Eastern North Carolina is home for a lot of them. Plus, my winter weather was pretty mild, so that made the Gulf Coast plants happy.

Remarkable! That's a lot of flowers. Do Sarrs generally just sprout one flower per rhizome, or can multiple growth points each make flowers?
I have an unknown Sarr that's growing a flower stalk right now, but although there are other growth points no other flowers are in evidence so far

Typically, I get just one flower bud per crown, and not from every crown. A few of my plants are overachievers and do 2 or 3 buds on a crown (like the Lunchbox plant).

Wow, all those blooms look like flowers outside of the Biltmore Mansion!!!

I've got an intense bloom going on, too. At least 33% of my sarrs are blooming!!! Of course I've only got three plants *possibly* capable of blooming. But, hey, I'm tickled with that one!!! Mystery $4.95 bargain sarrs from CC.
