After seeing a number of VFT cultivars with scaly leaves I’m looking for suggestions on which one I should add to my small collection?

The most common ones in the US are schuppenstiel I and II. Look around for those. I have shup destruction but it is pretty rare and won't have divisions for a while

I purchased a small and quite attractive "Dragon's Breath" from California Carnivores last June and it seems to be a very vigorous flytrap as I have gotten several nice divisions so far. "Dragon's Breath" has the same pronounced texture on the leaves as the ‘Schuppenstiel’ type flytraps but with much larger traps. The traps have very dark red interiors, and the eyelashes are dark red, tipped in white.
