This has been popping up on some of my windowsill plants. It doesn’t seem to be harmful but I don’t really like the look of it. Idk it just gives me bad vibes or something.

I get that on my peat moss I think. If we have the same thing, it's just a powdery mold. Usually more airflow gets it to go away

If it looks like, this my vote is mineral buildup. I had this when I was using leca. Turface or other clay based substrates could do it too. If you rub it between your fingers it is a chalky, slightly gritty paste. I always noticed more of it shortly after I watered (0 tds water) because the moss would be wicking up minerals to the tips where it was evaporating fastest
