What would happen if you left your lights on 24/7? Would it be bad for the plants? I don't plan to do this, just curious.

It'll kill your Nepenthes very quickly, and make your Sarracenia grow like weeds (not indefinitely of course, they do need a dormancy.) Not sure about other CPs but in general I don't think it's a particularly good idea and will greatly increase your power bill.

Some plants don't seem to mind at all, but many, after a while, will start to exhibit signs of stress, begin to decline, and would probably eventually die, but I've never gone quite this far.
