So I'm looking at nepenthesaroundthehouse.com (as one does) and see like insanely low pricing for some if not all the neps he grows (i.e. villosa for $20!!!). Like, WTH happened???

Maybe I am looking at the wrong website, but the one I visited only shows other sites. And is not HTTPS so it’s not secure / no encrypted data so don’t put credit cards on it if you are thinking of buying

He was referring to the species blog/guide section: http://www.nepenthesaroundthehouse.com/nvill.htm

In that it says for villosa circa 2006:

$ / size: moderate for a small plant, $20.00 and up

Even for 2006, I wouldn't expect it to raise by 10x!
