Was looking through the collection and saw this-

This is a cape my brother bought this year. Ever since the flower it’s been in decline. Any reason for this?

Is it around other plants? Brown spots like that make me think there is a sucking pest that is attacking it.

It’s actually secluded other than a couple of lemon seedlings.

My capensis declined drastically during flowering. It didn't help that it was still getting acclimated to the AZ sunshine and even when finally getting lots of sunlight it looked pretty bad while flowering. A lot of brown ends on the leaves and no new ones growing in. After the flower stalk dried up and was removed, it came back very quickly.
