Maybe this is sort of an odd question, but here goes...

I'm interested in getting a Venus Fly Trap, but my house doesn't get many flies or insects at all. In this case, would I have to feed the plant, or would it be able to survive solely off its photosynthetic bits? If I did have to feed it, what could I feed it? Mealworms, bits of meat, something...?

You don't need to feed them anything. They will do just fine if you give them lots of direct sunlight.

You can set them outside and they will catch the food themselves. Tons of bugs outside!
