I'd like to thank plantnerdjules for her latest donation.
She has donated a bunch of D. lanata (Dimbulah, QLD) seeds. These seeds are in the Petiolaris complex, so are a little more difficult to grow, but can be very rewarding.
She shared enough that I was able to conservatively make five packs of about 25 to 30 each. She also reported that she had a very good germination rate from a pinch. Neat stuff!
Before you question the name, it's legit. Dimbulah is an actual town, name after the Walsh River. The word Dimbulah is derived from the indigenous Australian peoples word for "long water". Dimbulah, long water, river. There you go.

Lanata also grows in Queensland, and that is what they're labeled as.
The donor reported germination from these, maybe she'll clear up the confusion with a pic. Lanata and lunata are very different in appearance, so it will be an easy ID.

Not the end all to the debate, but lunata seeds as per ICPS. vs lanata in the seed bank. Lunata are much bigger and football shaped vs the much smaller and rounder lanata.
