The subtropical forms of temperate dews will still go dormant if given the right conditions, nothing to worry about. If that happens, let them have a four to six week dormancy minimum, then wake them back up.
My filiformis var. Floridana "White Flower" slept the winter away and came back with a vengeance. Seeds sown last spring, two inch max leaves last year, over six inches so far this year.

This plant and its sibling didn't get the memo. By late November, all of my other threadleaf sundews (of whatever species/variety/hybrid, all outdoors) went dormant except for the two Florida Reds. They absolutely refused to pack it in for the winter. I had to move them to the front porch (sunny but under cover) to protect them from the frost; still rolling out leaves, although only a couple inches / 5 centimeters tall. In early January, I finally took pity on them, brought the plants indoors and put them under a grow light panel. They responded by rolling out longer leaves, and the one that I still have has produced 4 flower stalks already.

I'm glad to see that Hang's plant has bounced back from the cold blast.

That's the normal flower color for this variety.
Drosera filiformis var floridana "White Flower" is a fairly recently discovered plant, still kind of rare in cultivation.

That's what mine is, White Flower, and I got the seeds from you Shadowtski.
So far no scapes, but the dang thing is growing like a weed. I even sent half of them to Panman once they started waking up, and I still have a little, thread leafed forest.

On Terraforums.com, DJ57 started a thread about White Flowered, Red Drosera filiformis plants.
The date was June 29, 2016.
This was the first time I heard about this plant.
Shortly after this, I got some seed from DJ57.
It grew for me, I got seed, I paid it forward.
In my opinion this is the superstar of the filiformis family.
As always, just my 02¢ worth

Nice to hear some of the history. The clump Dean sent me is really taking off. I have all of my filiformis in one tray, and they have created a dense sticky forest.
