I haven't done this for sundews but that is what I use for my few neps.

Back before LED lighting was available, 2 tube or 4 tube 4ft fluorescent fixtures were the optimum way to go.
But I believe they have been completely replaced by the current generation of LED lights.
I never used to get color like I routinely see now in my plants.
That's just the 02¢ worth of an old fart.

@Shadowtski, are the LED lights that you're referring to the ones specifically built for growing plants or are they the new generation of basic LED shop lights?

I have used cheap 4’ fluorescent bulbs for years. They work great. I use 6 bulb fixtures about 6” above the plants.
I’ll be trying LED bulbs very soon though as I’m in the process of setting up a new grow room. Hope they work as well as the fluorescent.
