Hi everyone,
I'm Ani! I kinda dove into asking questions before introducing myself, so I'm doing that now . My husband and I are first time VFT owners, but I am essentially single-parenting it We bought the little guy from a garden centre nearby a little over a week ago. This was before I knew anything about "death cubes" and only had some basic essential VFT care knowledge ( distilled water, acclimatization to sunlight, how to water ).
We're having a lot of fun with this guy. It's incredible seeing how fast new shoots turn into full blown traps! I'm assuming that with more sun exposure, the petioles won't be so huge and the plant will start to grow more upright instead of hugging the bottom.
I'm not sure how healthy / unhealthy the little dude looks, but he seems to be growing nicely to my very untrained eyes.

Currently just waiting a few weeks to repot him and just wondering if I should repot him entirely in my peat moss / perlite mix, or if I can just transport him in his sphagnum moss into the new pot, surround it with the peat and perlite. Any thoughts based on the pics?
It's great to meet you all and thank you all so much for your help and advice in my posts so far. It is much appreciated!
Have a great day!
