Hello all; I have been neglecting introducing myself, so here goes. My name is Ned, from NH. I am a retired high school teacher, and have had a fascination with carnivorous plants since I read Paul Zahl’s article in National Geographic in the early ‘60’s. I didn’t have much success with VFT’s as a kid, but had success with the local Sarracenia purpurea and various local sundews indigenous to NH and VT. In my retirement I find great pleasure in messing about with different carnivorous plants, as well as interesting trees and shrubs. Other interests include fly fishing, offshore fishing, hunting dogs, British motorcycles, radio controlled sailplanes, New England colonial archeology as well as lots of odd and arcane stuff. I am attaching a few pics of my little outdoor carnivorous plant set up. I hope you all enjoy the pics, I don’t want to be long winded and bore people! Here in NH we are enjoying the first hot weather (hit 85 yesterday, with 60% humidity), the VFT’s are waking up and loving it! I have purchased quite a few of my plants through The Flytrap Store, so a big thanks to Matt and Leah for supplying my addiction, as well as those forum members who have supplied numerous plants! Happy growing to all…ELee
