If you were stranded on a desert island and how to pick one cultivar (and could grow it perfectly), which would you pick?

Current results:

• 3 B-52
• 2 FTS Maroon Monster
• 1 Wine Mouth
• 1 Big Mouth
• 1 King Henry (not an official cultivar?)
• 1 DC XL
• 1 A2
• 1 Paradisia
• 1 SD Kronos
• 1 FTS Crimson Sawtooth
• 1 G16

I was hoping to include a list of cultivars but it's too long so instead, here's a link to the current authority on the matter ... carnivorous plant database and ICPS Carnivorous Plant Names Database. Feel free to write in your favorites as well.

I'll start off the conversation by saying that 'B-52' is my all time favorite.

Gotta be King Henry for me. It was my first ever plant, which I still have. Such a large and vigorous plant!

DCXL for me for the past 8 years. What a beast!

I'm a sucker for 'wine mouth'.

A2 seems to produce the biggest traps for me, bigger than my B52 so far anyway, of which A2 is one parent, so I'd have to choose that

Big mouth

Maroon Monster would be my first choice.

My favorite VFT is B52, but that cultivar is so easy my dog could grow it. If I'm stranded on a desert island, might as well go for something challenging, right? So, hmm, I would pick one of those crazy blue psychedelic flytraps that I always see on ebay.

I would go with SD Kronos, but it is a tough choice between that and Fine Tooth X Red!

I'm ... just going to count that as B-52.

Wine mouth is not even close to Big Mouth? Much more expensive and has really nice colored traps.
