I just got my first darlingtonia today from mail and it has some live sphagnum moss and I don’t know how to care for live moss can anyone help me with the moss

You sure that's live sphag? Could just be dead sphag with algae... Can't really tell.

It’s bright and the head of it is green

Ive seen algae and it isn’t bright but dark green

Well, since the dried sphag is light in color, the algae growing on it may appear lighter in color.

No it's live sphagnum, just leave it be or if you want to place it under some more humidity. Live sphag can come in many different shapes, some stringy, with big heads or smaller ones and more compact.

If you keep the plant wet, the moss will look after itself.
