Hello! I was just invited here! I haven't had much time too look around yet, but I surely will! I'm sure it's a great site.

I only have one typical vft that I saved from Home Depot, and he still looks pretty sad, but I'm sure that he'll be looking better in the growing season.

G'day Tael & welcome to the forum. Good work saving another VFT from certain death. Make sure that you read all the info on the site in regards to caring for your new plant and it should thrive.

Hey tael! I'm glad to see you made it over here. That's great! It sounds like you're in the same place I was 1.5 years ago. I picked up my first VFT at a local Wal-Mart and that was the start of my obsession. Technically it wasn't my first VFT ever, but it was the first one I've owned as an adult.

In any case welcome to the forum! I'm glad to see you here.

Thanks all!

@Matt: Actually it wasn't my first CP, and I had planned to get one from a more "reputable" place... I guess you could say. But it was pretty sad looking and I managed to get a deal on it... I probably would have gotten it anyway, I felt pretty bad for it. :< He's half-sleeping on my windowsill right now, but I'm going to wake him up in March and see how he does. :)
