Who knows. Remember hollyhock is unpredictable. ;)
I wish I could get an 500 point bonus... :(
Don't we all. Course, especially if it was April 1st, she could be mischievous and give EVERYBODY 500 bonus points.

And don't forget it. As I said this has by far been my most ambitious giveaway. 26 days of fun and again I must say amazing response from everyone that has participated. I really appreciate all of your plants, informative details, jokes, poems, all of it. And yes I do have one or more twist at the end. So stay tuned :D
I hope the twist is "Second and third place also get a fabulous prize!!" :o
And there you go again trying to make up stuff for MY giveaway. I can't wait til you have some of your own. So I can offer you suggestions

My Y is a young Yellow Wattle
A little tree that flowers a lot-tle
With fragrance to please
And pollen for bees
It also hosts birds that sing at full throttle

This is our Queensland native Yellow Wattle Acacia flavescens,.
(Sorry about poor lighting, too early on a drizzly day.)

Few 'y' plants around these parts (need to fix that stat!). So, I needed to capitalize on the very pretty color yellow, and share this orchid that will fit in the palm of your hand: Promenaea silvana

Well last letter Z. It's been a really fun 26 days. At least for me. And again I thank everyone for participating. So let's finish strong with Z. And tomorrow I will give you the last little twist in the game.

This was fun, @Hollyhock, even though I petered out halfway through. I saw some amazing and varied plants from everyone. Thank you. But today, as in most days, I've got nothing so here is a great big zero.

Very nice! Never seen this species. Tried Promenaea years ago, but it was classed as a cool grower. Did not fare well in my conditions. 😔

I think in general it gets an 'intermediate to warm' category, but the right moisture has been a bit of a challenge - still it's worth the cheery fleurs.

I’m actually sad to see this giveaway come to a close… but every new beginning comes from some other beginnings end (what song is that from?) — so here is a new Zucchini start.

I've got a good idea for Z, but it's a picture I can only take before 4 pm and I'm also finishing and sending out my doctoral dissertation today. So it's a bit of a tossup on whether I'll be done in time to not be lame for Z. Motivation to proofread efficiently?
