You won't get any proper colour at this time of year I'm afraid unless it's under some pretty intense lamps, you will have to wait till summer for that, but it is worth the wait.

The only thing you can say for certain, at the moment, is that its a hybrid with a lot of purpurea in it.
When it gets more color and matures a bit that may give you more of a clue but you will never know for sure. A flower would tell you a lot.

It can make pitchers that are the size of your arm that hold water and make digestive juices, which help you eat. These bugs will land on the pitcher and then fall or walk down the pitcher until they slip.

Many carnivorous plants make more juice when they see movement in their pitchers or on their leaves.

These plants also have long flowers that grow during the summer. The pitchers of these flowers don't catch bugs or hurt them like the flowers do, though. When bugs land on a flower, pollen and the flower's genes spread around the area.
That eats other plants? Purpureas don't get that big. I feel like part of that is copy and pasted

I think it's probably impossible to identify with 100% certainty, which is usually the case with unlabeled sarracenia hybrids. I found this picture in Sarraceniaceae of North America by Stewart McPherson and Donald Schnell, which shows S. purpurea x rubra and looks similar to yours. BUT the bad news is the book also says: "No significant morphological differences distinguish S. purpurea ssp. venosa var. burkii x rubra ssp. gulfensis, S. purpurea ssp. venosa var. burkii x rubra ssp. wherryi, S. purpurea ssp. venosa var. venosa x rubra ssp. rubra or S. purpurea ssp. venosa var. montana x rubra ssp. jonesii, and these plants cannot be differentiated reliably using any morphological characteristic." So it could be any of those, or none of those. Super helpful, I know!

It’s been a while since I’ve been on this page and this website, but I think it’s a maroon. Also don’t worry i brought it inside to clean up the dead leaves.
