Despite my efforts to get rid of it, the star moss seems to keep growing back. I have tried repotting my plants, bare rooting. It seems to be growing on the roots of the plant, and even after removing it from the roots when repotting, it has grown back. Any suggestions/thoughts? Thank you.

I wouldn't worry about star moss too much, the only issues I've ever faced with it is when it tries to choke out small seedlings.

Its a proper pain in the ass and I hate it.It is very invasive and crowds out even Shagnum plus its vascular so its not even wet on the outside.

I always sanitize my soil before using or reusing by pouring boiling distilled water over it and letting it sit covered at least an hour. That seems to keep the moss away for me.
