50/50?

Lets say "I like to waste media"(I dont really do). Is the plant going to grow better if its repotted 2 times a year vs. 1 time a year?

Well, there are multiple factors to consider
- Root disturbance
-fresh media
Is using fresh media worth it if you disturb the roots?

So if I repot it twice a year then it can cause stress to the plant or what?

Repotting too often - root disturbance, plant won't be able to get established
Repotting not often enough - media degrades, chances of rot. Rhizome gets buried, Moss, cyanobacteria growth.

Not strictly speaking. Sometimes, if the media gets too degraded, you may need to repot more often.

Dumb newbie question coming up...
People repot their VFTs because "the media degrades" and their VFT might grow faster if it's repotted quite often.
How is it that VFTs grow very well in their natural habitat where they don't ever get repotted? :?

Although they grow very well in the wild they can’t reach their full potential since they can’t be repotted with clean medium or other size driving factors.
That is why flytraps grown by humans get their growing medium replaced each year to see how big and nice they can get with the most perfect growing conditions given to them .
