Hey all,

I've got a Frigidaire dehumidifier running in the basement that pumps out gallons of water every few days. I tested it with my PPM meter and it reads 5. Does this mean I can use it for watering my carnivorous plants with, or are there going to be issues with bacteria and stuff?

As always, just my 02¢ worth.
Guess I should just water one plant with it for now, see what happens haha. I guess I could also boil it to kill off any pathogens, but I feel like that's a bit extra.

I’ve used water from my dehumidifiers (2) over the summer when we don’t have much rain here in the UK for the past four years with no ill effects at all (ppm was 12.)
