I'll mix up a Gallon at a time.
I dump 3 quarts on my wife's outdoor and potted plants.
I put a quart in a spray bottle and use it until it's gone.
It lasts months up to almost a year.
I've never had any adverse reactions to old MaxSea.
As always, just my 02¢ worth.

I've had a quart in my garage for over a year now, it's still good. As my collection has grown, I'm sure I'll use it up this season, but no ill effects to my plants so far.
I've read that if you keep it in solution (mixed up), cool, and in a dark place, it will be good indefinitely.

If you store it dry, you should probably put it in something air tight. Or not it becomes slime.

I mix it up in a spray bottle, and it gets used up when it gets used up. I've had algae start growing in the bottle once or twice but it's usually fine. I don't notice any sort of degradation over time.

How long is "Very long time"? Sure, you can store it for years, but would you store it for centuries?
